Police in Vermont and New Hampshire expect to charge four people in connection with a series of pipe bombings in the two states.

Police say homes were searched in the New Hampshire towns of Enfield and Orange late last night and early this morning and evidence was seized.

Enfield Police Chief Richard Crate says there were at least eight incidents that he described as the “Upper Valley pipe bombings.”

Police say three juveniles and one adult will be charged later this week.

There were no injuries.

On Friday Vermont State Police discovered that an explosion had damaged a pay phone near the Vermont Law School in South Royalton. On Saturday night an explosion destroyed a portable toilet behind the Royalton School.
