Francois Clemmons brings spirituals to Middlebury

(Host) Each winter, the tenor Dr. Francois Clemmons teaches students at Middlebury College about the importance of traditional spirtuals. Dr. Clemmons has dedicated his life to preserving arrangements of the American Negro Spiritual for future generations. He has performed with opera companies all over the world and also created the role of “Officer Clemmons” on TV’s Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
