Gasoline prices set record

The Automotive club AAA says the average price of regular gasoline in Vermont is $1.82, about 11 cents less than the national average.

Industry analysts say gasoline prices across the country rose about 10 cents a gallon during the past two weeks, the biggest jump since last August. The national average for regular gasoline was $1.93 a gallon on Friday.

Analysts say the average price of gasoline has broken all-time record highs for two months straight.
