General Dynamics receives $69 million contract

The General Dynamics plant in Burlington has won a $69 million contract from the U.S. Army and Navy. Company officials and Senator Patrick Leahy say the contract is for two- and three-quarter-inch rockets. It’s a continuation of a $663 million contract. General Dynamics says the rockets are a widely used weapon system because they’re versatile, effective and affordable.
