A Georgia man is due in court today to answer an involuntary manslaughter charge stemming from the death of a fellow hunter two weeks ago.

Thirty-eight-year-old Timothy Madden is being charged in the death of 43-year-old David Jenkins of Milton.

Jenkins died November 23 after being shot while hunting with Madden and another friend in woods about 4 miles north of Milton’s town center.

Police have released few details about the shooting except to say that the bullet came from about 100 yards away.
