The Vergennes City Council has agreed to continue the city’s farmers’ market on the City Green from June through September of this year.
The City Council has also decided to pay for ads promoting the weekly event in the Addison Independent.
City officials say they won’t continue to pay for advertisement in the future, but thought it necessary until the event is established.
