In Addison County, Claire Ayer was easily re-elected. Democrat Harold Giard survived a tight race against Republican challenger Mark Young.
In Essex-Orleans, incumbent Senators Robert Starr and Vince Illuzzi were unchallenged in their bid to returns. Grand Isle Senator Dick Mazza was also re-elected.
In Lamoille County, Republican Rick Westman beat Democrat David Yacavone. Winners have not yet been declared in other races.
