(Steve Delaney) Exactly a century ago, an adventurer named Charles Jasper Glidden became the first person to drive a gasoline-powered car around the world. The 1903 trek began in Ireland, and that’s where Glidden relative Joe Sherman is about to launch a re-enactment of the European part of that epic journey.
