Interview: Beth Robinson on the prospects for same-sex marriage in Vermont

Last week California’s Supreme Court overturned the state’s ban on gay marriage. And while some anti-same sex marriage groups in the Golden State vow they will try to get the issue before voters as a ballot question in order to fight that decision, the high court ruling is seen as a major victory for advocates of same sex marriage.

Beth Robinson is Board Chair of the Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force and says the California decision will have a huge impact in Vermont, the first state in the union to support Civil Unions in 2000.
