In Brattleboro, there’s a controversy over the use of Tasers on two protesters by police.

The two were refusing to move from a vacant lot where there’s been informal talk of building a gas station by the owner of the property. The protesters want the lot preserved as open space.

When police arrived to find a group of 25 protesters on Monday, they told them they could stay, but 2 of the protesters remained and were confronted by police again on Tuesday.
