Interview: David Walker, former U.S. comptroller general

(Host) David Walker was the nation’s top auditor for several presidential administrations. 

In 1998, he was appointed as Comptroller General and head of the Government Accountability Office by President Bill Clinton.  He served through 2008. 

Walker is a vocal critic of wasteful government spending.

He is currently CEO and president of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, which is dedicated to influencing policy by raising awareness of what he feels are unsustainable government policies. 

David Walker will be speaking tomorrow evening at Norwich University.

He joins us by phone from New York City.
