Late last week Governor Jim Douglas signed legislation giving some financial relief to Vermont dairy farmers. It provides some cash for putting crops in the ground and defers some existing loan payments. Efficiency Vermont is also out with a plan to help finance energy efficiency upgrades on dairy farms.
