(Steve Delaney) Almost everywhere in Vermont the dominant foliage color is still green although here and there a precocious maple is slipping into its “dress uniform” for the big fall show. How colorful will the foliage display be this year? Here to help make some guesses is Professor John Shane, program chair of forestry at UVM’s School of Forestry.
