Interview: How New Hampshire votes

(Mitch Wertlieb) First came the Iowa caucuses and now the media has its collective lens trained on New Hampshire in advance of Tuesday’s first in the nation primary. The pundits are prognosticating, and part of that process will involve guess work about the people of the Granite State – their values, their character, and how it all might come together to determine which Democratic presidential hopeful emerges a winner.

Well, today we’re speaking with a man who lives and works in New Hampshire, and whose work has revolved around defining the New England character. Judson Hale is editor in chief for Yankee Magazine and the Old Farmer’s Almanac, which has just published a gardening companion to this year’s edition of the Almanac.
