After a heated debate among some of the 200 people who attended a meeting at the Williston Central School Monday night, the School Board decided to reschedule an anti-bullying presentation by the gay rights group Outright Vermont. The group had been asked to speak to 7th and 8th graders by school officials last month, but the talk was cancelled the very morning it was supposed to be held after some parents complained. Kate Jerman is the co-executive director of Outright Vermont. She spoke with Mitch Wertlieb about the incident and about the bullying issue.
