Author Naomi Wolf’s first book "The Beauty Myth" appeared in 1991 and
became an international best-seller. And she’s produced a slew of successful to selling books since then.
Her new book "The End of America" is on the New York Times Best Seller list, but it isn’t published by one of the big corporate publishing houses.
Chelsea Green Publishing of White River Junction is behind the book, and Wolf says the theories she discusses in "The End of America" have everything to do with why she had to go outside the mainstream to get the book out.
Wolf argues that America’s constitutional freedoms have been systematically eroded by the Bush administration, most egregiously since the 9/11 attacks, and in a disturbing pattern the world has seen before.
And Wolf says if you think that’s over-stating the case, you’re not paying attention to the historical parallels she chronicles in "The End of America."
