Interview: Paul Sorgule on NECI’s consolidation

There are big changes happening at the New England Culinary Institute. In a money-saving move, NECI’s Board of Directors yesterday approved a consolidation of operations from its Essex Junction Campus to Montpelier.

NECI Provost Paul Sorgule says it’s not accurate to say NECI is closing its Essex Junction campus, but as we’ll hear, some jobs will be lost there, and faculty job descriptions will change.

Sorgule says focusing operations in Montpelier and changing NECI’s focus will be a recipe for success.
