Poet and UVM Professor Major Jackson comes to Vermont via Philadelphia. His first poetry collection, Leaving Saturn, was a finalist for a National Book Critics Circle Award. Jackson has just published a second volume, entitled Hoops, a series of loosely related observations on life in contemporary times, published by Norton Books.

Major Jackson lives in South Burlington, and joined Neal Charnoff in our Colchester studios.
