Interview: Roger Albee, Crop Rain Damage

Governor Jim Douglas said yesterday he would appeal to the federal government for disaster relief caused by torrential and persistent rain that hit the region in May and into the early part of this month. The extent of the damage has been hard to assess until now because the weather just didn’t let up.

Roger Albee is the State Executive Director of Farm Services. He recently spoke with farmers to find out how bad things are talked with Mitch Wertlieb about that conversation.
