Economically speaking, it’s a pretty good time to be a Canadian. The
Canadian dollar is on par with its U.S. counterpart, and some economists
believe it could surpass it in value if current trends continue.
What’s behind this flip-flop of economic fortunes? For answers we turned
to Scott Baker, an International Business professor at Champlain College.
He recently visited our VPR studios, and says while it has been quite some
time since the Canadian Loonie has been this formidable, it has happened
