Quebec Premier Jean Charest won his third consecutive provincial election last night.
He became the first Quebec premier in more than 50 years to capture three straight terms.
This was a narrow Liberal win over a resurgent Parti Quebecois.
The election took place even as an unprecedented Parliamentary crisis continued.
