A Lyndonville inn accused of refusing to host a lesbian couple’s wedding reception has been ordered to turn over more information about its operations.

A judge granted the American Civil Liberties Union request regarding the Wildflower Inn.

The Caledonian-Record says the information was requested on behalf of a lesbian couple who sued after they asked the inn to host their wedding reception, and were denied.

The request includes names and contact information of anyone serving as wedding or events director during the past 10 years; and messages related to requests by same-sex couples to hold special events there.

The Inn’s owners, Mary and Jim O’Reilly, say many of their guests have been same-sex couples, but added that they don’t feel they can offer their personal services "wholeheartedly" to celebrate same-sex marriages.
