Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy is going to speak tomorrow at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
Leahy says he’s going to speak about rural issues.Leahy is one of the seven superdelegates Vermont is sending to the convention, which begins today.Vermont is sending 20 pledged delegates.
Party spokeswoman Liz Saxe says one delegate at 27 is the youngest member of the Vermont Legislature. One delegate is 18 and a third are younger than 30. But there are also veterans.
Former Governor Madeleine Kunin will be attending her fifth convention.
