A man described by authorities as being one of Rutland’s biggest drug dealers got a lengthy jail term at his sentencing, despite an apology.
Thirty-five-year-old Jose Burgos told Judge William Cohen that he’s truly sorry for what he’s done, and that he doesn’t believe he’s a monster to society.
Burgos, who sold heroin and cocaine, pleaded guilty last December to four felony counts. He got sentenced to 7 – 15 years at his sentencing Thursday.
