A Vermont man has admitted robbing a pharmacy in West Rutland. Forty-three-year-old Christopher McCarthy, of St. Albans, pleaded guilty yesterday in federal court in Rutland. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Court records say McCarthy demanded methadone and oxycodone from a Rite Aid pharmacy on February 11 and threatened the pharmacist. McCarthy was arrested that evening.
