An 18-year-old Rutland man once charged in connection with the theft of a laptop computer that contained unreleased images of the late Anna Nicole Smith is pleading not guilty to a charge he robbed a city convenience store.

Rutland Police say Brennan Bigelow was arrested Monday after he robbed Mac’s Market.

Police had been investigating three armed robberies in Rutland in less than 12 hours.

The Rutland Herald says Bigelow has a criminal record that includes a conviction for possession of stolen property and aiding in the commission of a felony from the 2007 theft of a laptop from a Rutland movie studio that contained photos of the late actress.

Bigelow appeared in court on Tuesday. Bail was set at $100,000.
