The National Weather Service is predicting minor flooding today in areas along the Otter Creek in western Vermont; the National Trust for Historic Preservation has released its endangered places list and Vermont is now at the top of it due to new big box developments; Secretary of State Deb Markowitz kicks off a campaign to get high school seniors registered to vote; Governor Jim Douglas spent most of the morning at a summit on out of school time and extra learning opportunities for youth; Lieutenant Governor Brian Dubie presents awards to seven who won the state’s aviation art contest, sponsored annually by the Federal Aviation Administration.
