Thousands are still without power from the recent Storm, but some businesses that are up and running are seeing huge crowds as a result; yesterday Governor Jim Douglas declared all 14 of Vermont’s counties disaster areas, hoping for some federal aid; House Speaker Gaye Symington and Senate President Pro Tem Peter Shumlin met with more than a hundred people in Montpelier yesterday who want them to take action on resolutions seeking President Bush’s impeachment; a kayaker is safe today after being rescued from an island in the Winooski River in Moretown.
