An imported insect is a threat to Vermont’s hemlock trees; assessing the effectiveness of new Congressman Peter Welch; a group of skiers in Killington ski are joining together to fight the new resort owner’s decision to cancel their lifetime trail passes; no one was in the Ferrisburgh Roadhouse restaurant last night, when it burned to the ground, and no one was injured trying to put out the fire; the Stowe Land Trust and the Vermont chapter of the Nature Conservancy have combined to protect an area of bog and wetland in Morristown.
