Vermont has lost another National Guard soldier in combat in the Iraq war; the effort to relocate the Rutland Railyard makes some progress; a coalition of small business interests turned up at the Statehouse in Montpelier this morning to say that legislative funding plans for health care and transportation, would cost, in total, a hundred eighty million dollars in taxes; officials from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission were in Brattleboro last night for a public hearing on Vermont Yankee’s request to extend the nuclear power plant’s license.
