The state implements a plan to restore full funding to the teachers’ pension fund; this month’s rains may push the Vermont corn harvest into the very end of the growing season; the town of Brattleboro, Vermont can probably get by without a weigher of coal for a while, but members of the Planning Commission and Development Review Board are another matter; Arizona Senator John McCain says he’s in favor of keeping New Hampshire as the nation’s first Presidential primary.
