Arbor Day comes just as Rutland residents finish cleaning up after a massive loss of trees in a windstorm; Bernie Sanders gets praise for his prescription drug battle from the grand old man of the U.S. Senate, while Rep. Peter Welch spent much of the week on a regional infrastructure enhancement plan; a test burn of tire-derived fuel by International Paper at Ticonderoga was stopped after just five days, and now International Paper is saying that it will install additional emissions control equipment.
