People who are at high risk of medical problems have another chance to get a flu shot. Three flu clinics will be held in the Upper Valley next week for people who are elderly or have chronic medical conditions, and for pregnant women.
The flu clinics will be held Monday, Nov. 29 in Springfield; Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Chester; and Wednesday, Dec 1 in Bellows Falls. (See details below.)
The clinics are sponsored by the Vermont Department of Health, the Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire. Officials say that doses are limited and only those people who are at a high medical risk will be given the flu vaccine.
