The state of Vermont is cracking down on people who owe back income taxes in hopes of collecting at least $7 million; a trial has started for a group of teenagers charged with stealing exams from a Hanover, New Hampshire High School; Vermont State Auditor Tom Salmon says there’s a possibility he could be called to active duty in the Navy in the next few months;  Hartland artist George Tooker will receive a 2007 National Medal of the Arts from the National Endowment of the Arts.
