Bennington company has doubled its employment over the past year and expects to double again in the next few months; A task force appointed by the Legislature says a state program that gives farm and forest land owners a break on their property taxes is working well;  State officials say Vermont hasn’t been hit as hard as some parts of the country by the sub-prime mortgage crisis, but that it’s not immune, either;  A Vermont program that helps returning National Guard members get help readjusting to life in the United States is getting a big boost;  The Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing is going to help 19 private businesses market their services out of state.
