The brother of a man accused in a Dummerston drug killing has, himself, been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Federal prosecutors say 29-year-old Michael Caraballo of Holyoke, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine as part of a plea deal. He was sentenced on Monday.
Court records say he’s also accused of shooting a vehicle with a drug customer inside. No one was injured in that incident.
His brother, 28-year-old Frank Caraballo, also of Holyoke, Massachusetts, has pleaded not guilty to killing a woman during a drug deal last year.
He’s been sentenced to nearly 17 years in prison on separate drug charges.
