Nader makes campaign stops in VT and NH

Consumer advocate and presidential candidate Ralph Nader is visiting Vermont and New Hampshire next week.

In Vermont, Nader plans two campaign stops for this Sunday. The first will be at the Big Picture Theater and Cafe in Waitsfield. He’ll also will hold a rally at Ira Allen Chapel on the University of Vermont campus on Sunday evenint.

In New Hampshire, Nader plans to speak at Dartmouth College about the Wall Street bailout at a press conference, as well as about health care, the Iraq War, the environment and the presidential debates. A rally also is planned on campus.

The perennial presidential candidate qualified for ballots in both states as an alternative to Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama.

Nader is running as an independent with Californian Matt Gonzalez as his running mate.
