Today marks the kickoff of an unusual film festival in the Mad River Valley.
The "Architecture and Design Film Festival" features more than thirty films that explore the creative stages of the design process.
The event is the brainchild of Kyle Bergman, an architect with ties to Waitsfield and New York City.
Proceeds will benefit the Yestermorrow Design/Build school, where Bergman is a member of the board of directors.
VPR’s Neal Charnoff speaks with Bergman about the festival, which opens this evening in Waitsfield, and runs through the weekend.
