There continues to be plenty of politics at the Statehouse today over the proposed merger of Central Vermont Public Service and Green Mountain Power. The Senate has also waded into the controversial issue of whether child care workers should be allowed to form a union to bargain certain issues with the state. The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee says a bill calling for labeling of genetically modified food won’t pass this year.
