The state of Vermont is being sued for discrimination against a female employee in the Department of Corrections.  The Vermont Human Rights Commission says the state discriminated by paying a man more than a woman doing essentially the same job.  V-P-R’s Kirk Carapezza reports. New campaign finance reports show that Vermont Republican gubernatorial challenger Randy Brock spent more than $806-thousand dollars in his unsuccessful attempt to unseat Democratic Governor Peter Shumlin. Workers at the Brattleboro Food Coop have voted to join the Local 1459 of the United Food and Commercial Workers.
