The Vermont Republican Party didn’t fare very well on Election Night. The GOP lost 5 of the 6 statewide races and it failed to improve its standing at the Statehouse. VPR’s Bob Kinzel takes a look at the future of the Republican Party. Seven Vermont ambulances and teams of emergency personnel are helping out in New Jersey, which was devastated by Superstorm Sandy. A teacher and coach at Oxbow Union High School in Bradford has been charged with sexually abusing a former student more than a decade ago.
