A Dartmouth College fraternity accused of hazing has been put on probation for three terms and ordered to participate in an extensive series of educational programs. Vermont lawmakers continue to work their way through long lists of pending bills as the end of the session draws closer. Gov. Peter Shumlin says there’s good news on the corrections front. Vermont has had a reduction in its prison population while its crime rates are also down. State and federal officials plan to highlight a downtown Barre apartment project this afternoon that was rehabilitated to give homes to people displaced by Tropical Storm Irene.
