New Hampshire Governor John Lynch is seeking several hundred volunteers to help low-income state residents prepare their homes for winter.

From now until December first, volunteers will help senior citizens and families weatherize their homes as part of the StayWarmNH program. Individuals and businesses are being asked to give up to two days of their time to work on projects like installing weather stripping and window sealing in about five-thousand homes.

Lynch joined officials from a number of state charitable organizations in Concord on Tuesday to launch the program.
