Nicholas Kristoff on the changing situation in China

Journalist Nicholas Kristof won the second of his two Pulitzer Prizes last year for his reporting on the genocide in Darfur.

His first Pulitzer came more than a decade earlier. It was an honor he shared with his wife, fellow New York Times journalist Sheryl WuDunn, as the two covered the suppressed Democracy movement in China’s Tiananmen Square.

On Monday Kristof brings his knowledge of China full circle as he delivers the keynote address at the University of Vermont’s Film and lecture series on China.

Kristof has been to China many times, most recently this summer, but says it’s like visiting a new country every time he goes:
