David Stromeyer has been building massive steel sculptures in Northern Vermont for over 40 years.  Now, a career retrospective on display at Burlington City Arts and a few works in Stowe offer a glimpse of his life’s work that includes more than 400 sculptures.

VPR’s Fran Stoddard recently visited Stromeyer at his home in Enosburg Falls.

David Stromeyer’s works are on display at Burlington City Arts through September and are at the Helen Day Art Center in Stowe until mid October.
