Norwich University officials say the student who died after falling out his dorm window early this morning, had been drinking. Nineteen-year-old Brendan MacDonald was from Norwell, Massachusetts.
Norwich President Richard Schneider says the investigation into the student’s death is continuing. Northfield Police Chief Jeff Shaw says it’s too early to say if any criminal charges will be filed.
Schneider says MacDonald had been attending a party in a dormitory room where alcohol was being consumed. It’s against school policy for students to drink alcohol in dormitory rooms.
