Nulhegan Basin to host wildlife festival

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will hold a wildlife festival next weekend at the Nulhegan Basin Division in Brunswick.

The Aug. 22 event will include live bird-of-prey demonstrations, a guided native plant hike, wildlife exhibitors, hands-on demonstrations, wildlife lectures, children’s craft activities, food and entertainment.

The Nulhegan Basin Division is part of the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the visitor station on Route 105 rain or shine.
