A Burlington diner that has been a downtown landmark for more than 50 years is changing hands.
The Oasis Diner hasn’t changed much since its 1953 opening.
It has been a frequent stop for politicians. In 1995, then President Clinton had lunch there.
The Lines family that has owned and run the diner for three generations is selling the business at the end of the month.
The new owner will be Glenn Walter, owner of the Three Needs tavern.
Walter plans to turn the Oasis into a sit-down New York-style deli.
