Investigators in Vermont will meet with their counterparts in New Hampshire to compare notes on the third disappearance of a woman in the region since February. Lamoille County Sheriff Roger Marcoux says the only common thread to the three cases is that the vehicles of the missing women were all found abandoned.

The latest case began last Thursday after 35-year-old Jodie Whitney of Johnson didn’t return home. On February 9, 21-year-old Maura Murray disappeared in Haverhill, New Hampshire. On March 19, 17-year-old Brianna Maitland of Sheldon disappeared in Montgomery.

Marcoux says Vermont investigators will meet with New Hampshire detectives to see if any additional links can be found.
