A company that makes brake lights, turn signals and other automotive lighting has laid off 70 workers in Hillsboro, N.H.
Osram Sylvania says declining auto sales have resulted in lower demand for its products. The company says that it expects a challenging market in the next few months and wants to stay flexible to adapt to changing orders.
The company is one of the town’s largest employers.
